Caves Velhas Garrafeira Tinto DOC Dão is an elegant red wine with an intense ruby color. The captivating aromas of ripe forest fruits contrast with subtle notes of cedar and pine needles. On the palate, it is elegant and has excellent volume. It pairs well with traditional dishes such as roast kid. It is worth aging for a few years.

GRAPE VARIETIES: Tinta-Roriz (40%), Alfrocheiro (40%) and Touriga Nacional (20%).
COLOR: Intense Ruby
AROMA: Ripe forest fruits, with notes of cedar and pine needles.
FLAVOR: On the palate it is elegant with excellent mouthfeel.
MATURATION: Aged for 12 months in French oak barrels. After bottling, a final aging process of more than 12 months took place in the bottle.
VINIFICATION: Total destemming, prolonged skin maceration, alcoholic fermentation at 28°C.
