Cabeça de Toiro Private Reserve Alicante Bouschet

From Quinta S. João Batista comes this Cabeça de Toiro Reserva Privada, a wine of exceptional character, made from the Alicante Bouschet grape variety. Produced from grapes harvested manually during the early hours of the day, it was vinified with continuous contact with the skins. It aged for 12 months in French oak barrels, resulting in a full-bodied, complex wine with nuances of chocolate, tobacco and spices, presenting a harmonious and lingering finish. Only 4500 bottles of this exclusive wine were produced.
